Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the support and
assistance of the respective Portfolio Managers. Must collect
weekly, monthly, and annual reports and letters from community
managers. Checks all reports, letters, and materials for
accurate content. Aids in the preparation of letters, budgets,
and financial materials. Supports the needs of the Compliance
Department, and is responsible for report filing and office
organization.
Position requirements include: high school diploma or equivalent
(exceptions may be made), experience in administrative
assistance, office support, or related field, experience with
Microsoft Excel and Word Processing, experience with office
equipment, strong organizational skills, strong inter-personal
and communications skills, strong time-management skills,
willingness to volunteer and assist in other administrative
duties.
Assistant Community Manager
The Assistant Community Manger is responsible for the support
and assistance of the Community Manger. Must present a
professional image at all times as works closely with community
residents, potential residents, and representatives from other
companies. Prepares and maintains resident files and office
files. Assists in the preparation and distribution of letters,
memos, and weekly, monthly, and annual reports. Responsible for
showing apartments to, and the screening of community
applicants. Shares in the duties of rent collection, maintenance
work-order system, and telephone answering. Assists Community
Manager in legal proceedings, and the maintenance of rental
level records. Must be able to assist in duties of the Community
Manager when necessary. The Assistant Community Manager must
represent the community in a professional, courteous, and
knowledgeable manner, and must adhere to all policies and
procedures as listed in the Allied Group, Inc. Policies and
Procedures Handbook.
Position requirements include: high school diploma or equivalent
(exceptions may be made), administrative experience, preferably
in real estate or related field, Word Processing experience, and
experience with other office equipment, strong organizational
skills, strong inter-personal skills, ability to solve problems,
strong time-management skills.
Community Manager
The Community Manager is responsible for the on-site management
of the residential community, and all staff maintenance,
including but not limited to: hiring, training supervising, and
releasing. Must present a professional image at all times, as
works closely with community residents, potential residents, and
representatives from other companies. Initiate rent collection,
show apartments to potential residents, and check application
references, verify application paperwork, and complete rental
agreements. Maintain all office and resident files and records,
complete reports, and review statements. Must become familiar
with all respective compliance requirements. Responsible for
maintaining and reconciling community budget. Oversee and
participate in the maintenance and upkeep of community grounds,
amenities, and vacant apartment units. The Community Manager
reports to the respective Portfolio Manager, and is responsible
for submittal of all paperwork and reports the that Portfolio
Manager in the ascribed and timely manner. The Community Manager
must represent the community in a professional, courteous, and
knowledgeable manner, and must adhere to all policies and
procedures as listed in the Allied Group, Inc. Policies and
Procedures Handbook.
Position requirements: high school diploma or equivalent
(exceptions may be made), previous site management experience,
general knowledge of accounting and administrative duties,
strong organizational skills, strong inter-personal skills,
ability to exercise strong self-control, skill at keeping
accurate records, ability to solve problems, strong
time-management skills, general knowledge of maintenance
techniques and procedures, Word Processing experience, and
experience with other office equipment, interest and enthusiasm
for property management, must exhibit a professional image.
Groundskeeper
The Groundskeeper is responsible, under the authority of the
Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall
maintenance and care of the community grounds. Groundskeeper may
be cross-trained to complete tasks otherwise reserved for
maintenance-specific positions, and in that case will have an
extended job description. Responsible for upkeep of property
grounds, both internal and external, duties include but are not
limited to: watering/irrigating, weed control, leaf control,
garbage patrolling, pruning, flower upkeep, vacuuming, blowing,
and pressure-washing. Physical demands may include: heavy
lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping,
climbing, balancing, walking, and carrying.
Position requirements: high school diploma (exceptions may be
made), previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, or
related field, or willingness to learn, dependable, strong
time-management skills, strong inter-personal skills, ability to
solve problems.
Housekeeper
The Housekeeper is responsible, under the authority of the
Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall
maintenance and care of the community grounds. The overall
purpose of this position is to ensure that these facilities
remain clean and orderly at all times. Housekeeper may be
cross-trained to complete some tasks otherwise ascribed for the
positions of Groundskeeper, and or Maintenance Technician.
Responsible for upkeep of property grounds, both internal and
external, duties include but are not limited to:
watering/irrigating, weed control, leaf control, garbage
patrolling, pruning, flower upkeep, vacuuming, blowing, and
pressure-washing. Physical demands may include: heavy lifting,
bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, climbing,
balancing, walking, and carrying. Other duties include, but are
not limited to: cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and
sweeping.
Position requirements: high school diploma or equivalent
(exceptions may be made), previous housekeeping/janitorial
experience, training, or willingness to learn, strong
time-management skills, strong inter-personal skills, problem
solving abilities.
Leasing Consultant
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the support and
assistance of the Community Manager and the Assistant Community
Manager. Must present a professional image at all times, as
works closely with community residents, potential residents, and
representatives from other companies. Responsible for general
administrative/clerical functions, file maintenance and
preparation, and rent collection. Must show apartment units to
potential residents, complete applicant screening, and answer
telephone calls. Will organize work orders, and schedule visits
and moving dates. The Leasing Consultant must represent the
community in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable
manner, and must adhere to all policies and procedures as listed
in the Allied Group, Inc. Policies and Procedures Handbook.
Position requirements: high school diploma or equivalent
(exceptions may be made), previous leasing, sales, or
administrative experience (preferably within the real estate
industry), experience with Word Processor and other office
equipment, strong organizational skills, strong time-management
skills, ability to solve problems.
Maintenance Manger
The Maintenance Manager is responsible under the Community
Manager for the overall maintenance of the community.
Responsible for all maintenance staff, housekeeping, and grounds
people. Responsible for completing and recording work orders
from residents, restoring all vacant apartment units to rental
condition, and regular community maintenance. Responsible for
upkeep of property grounds, both internal and external, duties
include but are not limited to: watering/irrigating, weed
control, leaf control, garbage patrolling, pruning, flower
upkeep, vacuuming, blowing, and pressure-washing. Physical
demands may include: heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling,
kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, walking, and carrying.

maintenance management or related field, electrical technicians
license (O7B), formal training in: carpentry, light plumbing
work, light electrical work, painting, refurbishing and
cleaning, air conditioning repair and maintenance, must score

skills, ability to solve problems, willingness to volunteer for
outside duties, willingness to respond in case of disaster when
off-duty.
Maintenance Technician Assistant
The Maintenance Technician Assistant is responsible under the
Community Manager and Maintenance Manager for the overall
maintenance of the community. Responsible for completing and
recording work orders from residents, restoring all vacant
apartment units to rental condition, and regular community
maintenance. Responsible for upkeep of property grounds, both
internal and external, duties include but are not limited to:
watering/irrigating, weed control, leaf control, garbage
patrolling, pruning, flower upkeep, vacuuming, blowing, and
pressure-washing. Physical demands include, but are not limited
to: heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling,
stooping, climbing, balancing, walking, and carrying.

(O7B), formal training in: carpentry, light plumbing work, light

Project Coordinator
Responsible, under the direction of the Portfolio Manager, for
the overall performance of maintenance at sites assigned sites.
Required to establish and implement preventative maintenance
plans, inventory system plans, and supply order systems. Design
appropriate vendor bid routines, prepare detailed bid-specs,
perform appliance and other repairs, train staff to perform
maintenance duties that would otherwise be contracted to outside
sources. Physical demands include, but are not limited to: heavy
lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping,
climbing, balancing, walking, and carrying.
